August sweepstakes and blood drives at Morton Amphitheater, Rock Island Bridge and T-Mobile Center offer donors a chance to win Chiefs tickets, concert experiences, and more
KANSAS CITY – Community Blood Center (CBC) is teaming up with several iconic Kansas City venues to save lives this August. Through blood drives at Morton Amphitheater, Rock Island Bridge and T-Mobile Center, along with a regionwide Kansas City Chiefs ticket sweepstakes, CBC is encouraging donors to help replenish the blood supply while earning special donor incentives.
The campaign comes at a critical time as blood centers nationwide continue to face low blood inventories. CBC recently declared a blood emergency after the regional blood supply fell to its lowest level since the COVID-19 pandemic, reflecting a broader shortage being felt across the country.
Every donation helps ensure hospitals have the blood products they need to treat patients. Throughout August, donors can give blood at unique community locations while taking advantage of special incentives that recognize their lifesaving contributions.

Kansas City Chiefs Divisional Ticket Package Sweepstakes | August 10–25
- All who come to donate at CBC donor centers and select blood drives from August 10 through August 25 will automatically be entered to win two tickets and parking to each of the Kansas City Chiefs’ three divisional home games this season.

Amphitheater Blood Drive | Tuesday, August 11 | 10 a.m.–7 p.m. Morton Amphitheater, 6150 Music Blvd., Riverside, MO - Donors will receive a limited-edition 101 The Fox “Rock & Roll Up Your Sleeves” T-shirt while supplies last.

Rock Island Bridge Blood Drive | Friday, August 14 | 2–6 p.m. 1799 American Royal Drive, Kansas City, MO - Donors will qualify for the Kansas City Chiefs Ticket Sweepstakes.
