Community Blood Center (CBC) employees were invited to an exciting evening at the Sporting KC soccer game on Saturday, May 23, where CBC was proudly recognized as the Community Partner of the Game. The event was a fantastic opportunity to showcase CBC’s mission while enjoying some high-energy soccer and team camaraderie.
Proudly representing CBC at the stadium were Executive Director of Operations Bobbie Taylor, Vice President of Operations Chelsea Tibbetts, Associate Director of Donor Recruitment Amber McWilliams, Account Managers of Donor Recruitment Dawn Eblen and Kim Clark, Donor Marketing Coordinator Grace Berlage, and Manager of Donor Collections Teri Cooper.

The evening kicked off with Dawn and Kim taking the stage before the game to speak about CBC’s vital impact on the community. The teamwork was on full display outside the stands, as the team engaged with fans and spreading awareness about the importance of blood donation at our CBC information table.
The highlight of the night came on the pitch, where Chelsea, Dawn, and Kim were officially honored on the field during a special presentation celebrating CBC as the Community Partner of the Game.
Thank you to Bobbie, Chelsea, Amber, Dawn, Kim, Grace, and Teri for representing CBC so well and for your continuous dedication to our community!
