Kansas City’s pro teams know how to lead, both on the field and in the community. And KC Current just proved that once again.
Community Blood Center was thrilled to team up with KC’s professional women’s soccer team, Kansas City Current, for their first-ever blood drive – hosted exclusively for their front office and technical staff. The event brought in 31 donors and resulted in the collection of 27 pints of blood – enough to help more than 80 patients in local hospitals.
We’re proud to partner with organizations like KC Current that are passionate about making a difference beyond game day. Their commitment to service is part of a larger movement – KC’s professional sports teams are stepping up to support the local blood supply, and we’re inspired by their leadership.
