Gift of Smiles Video

Please view this brief video to get an understanding of how Sickle Cell Disease has affected these two families who are in Community Blood Center’s Gift of Smiles program.

You can help by donating your blood at Community Blood Center. CBC will “type” your blood to see if you’re a match for a Sickle Cell patient. If your blood closely matches one of the Sickle Cell patients at Children’s Mercy, we hope you will consider becoming a part of this program.
