Volunteer at Community Blood Center

Community Blood Center is currently looking for energetic people to volunteer at mobile blood drives and neighborhood Donor Centers. It is another opportunity to become part of the lifesaving team. By volunteering your time with Community Blood Center you join an organization committed to providing safe and reliable blood services to 70 hospitals in 70 counties throughout Missouri and Kansas. We recognize that volunteers are talented with a variety of experiences, education and training. We will make every effort to provide a rewarding volunteer experience. Financial Contributions

Financial contributions are always appreciated and are 100% tax deductible. Our new Web site will soon feature online donations for your convenience.

Other Ways You Can Help

  1. Write a letter to the editor of your hometown newspaper about why you donate blood.  

  2. Recruit others to give blood or bring a friend along next time you donate.

  3. Donate blood more often. If you have been giving only once a year, try to give every other month or six times a year.

  4. Ask the human resources department at work to hold a companywide blood drive.

  5. Encourage your teenager’s high school or scout troop to sponsor a blood drive.Organize a blood drive at church, your bowling league or book club.Invite your relatives to join you in donating blood as a family activity over the holidays.
